Ministry Descriptions

Audio/ Visual

This ministry uses audio and visual software to enhance our worship service. A good candidate for this department should be familiar with using the computer for presentations and audio mixing board. Experience using PowerPoint, Easy Worship and audio equipment is a plus. Training provided.

Book Store/ Media Sales (CD Duplication)

This ministry prepares resource materials such as books and CD’s to be sold and distributed to members and visitors.

Beautification/Decorating

Do you have an eye for decorating? This includes décor for the church when needed, and setting up decorations for special events.

Children’s Ministry

This ministry makes the Word of God applicable to children ages 12 months -13. This includes teaching, assisting, serving snacks. Training provided.

Evangelism

Do you have a heart for seeking the lost and reconciling people to God? Going out into the community and connecting people to God is the focus of this ministry.

Do you have a graphics and advertising background? This includes preparing advertising for the ministry and special events. Experience using PowerPoint, Publisher, Photoshop, and other graphic programs, is a plus.

Graphic Arts

A warm smile and a social, welcoming personality makes a great greeter. If this is you, then you’d be great for this team.

Greeters

Do you love to cook and prepare food? Do you have an eye for excellent food presentation and preparation? If so, this would be a great ministry for you.

Hospitality (Culinary Ministry)

This team weekly prepares the church for it’s services. A good cleaner and an eye for detail would make you a great asset to this team.

Maintenance

Do you play an instrument (piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, etc) proficiently? If so, this would be a great team for you.

Musicians

This ministry services toddler’s ages 18 months – 3 years old. A love for little ones, high energy, and patience is necessary to be apart of this team.

Nursery

Ushering people into the presence of God through worship is what this team is all about. If you are a great singer, understand the dynamics of singing and have a willingness to be trained; this would be a great team for you.

Choir

This ministry leads the people into prayer at each weekly service. Must be able to pray clearly in front of others, have good understanding of God’s Word, and able to have the heart to beseech God on behalf of others.

Prayer

Teens Ministry

This ministry serves youth age 14-19, teaching them principles to be successful Christian teens.

Transportation

Picking up people and bringing them into the house of God is the focus. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and own transportation to and from church van.

Ushers

Serving in love is the focus of the ushers. From seating to crowd control, the ushers facilitate many facets of services.
